Previous Red Bull team principal Christian Horner is reportedly "getting in touch with most team bosses" as he pursues a comeback to F1, per the Aston Martin team chief executive officer Andy Cowell.

Aston Martin is included in the teams that have been linked with Horner.

The Aston Martin CEO mentioned he had checked the developments with team principal Lawrence Stroll recently at the Marina Bay race.

"It seems like Christian is getting in touch with most team bosses at the moment," commented the CEO.

"I can definitively state there are no plans for the engagement of Christian in an management or financial position in the future."

Further Organizations Respond

The American team boss Ayao Komatsu stated that the ex-chief had "reached out to" the Stateside organization but added: "No progress has been made. It is finished."

The Renault-owned team managing director Steve Nielsen revealed the squad's senior consultant and acting leader Flavio Briatore was "longtime companions" with the former principal.

The Alpine director commented: "I don't know what they discuss. All I can confirm is there are no intentions for Christian to join Alpine but that isn't to say it won't happen."

The historic British team boss James Vowles declared that the former Red Bull leader had not contacted them.

"We're very happy with the setup we have and it's working," Vowles said. "There's no cause to alter this."

Previous Developments

Horner is free to return grand prix racing by the second half of the coming year after finalising a departure deal with his former team on September 22nd.

The veteran motorsport figure was fired as Red Bull team principal after the Silverstone race in July.

Several informants at Red Bull have suggested the agreement deal was worth 60m euros (52 million pounds).
