Reaching a milestone 250 Premier League wins is an achievement that requires a special kind of celebration.

Following Manchester City's narrow 1-0 victory against Brentford, Guardiola now joins an elite group of managers who have reached this milestone with one club.

Only Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United) and Arsene Wenger (Arsenal) have done so previously - and Guardiola is already planning a football fan's dream guest list to toast the landmark.

"Being in the company of Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger is an honor, I'm taking them out for a magnificent dinner," announced the City boss in his tenth year with the club.

"Being part of Premier League history brings me great joy, absolutely thrilled. Let's target 250 additional wins."

Unprecedented Feat

Having taken 349 top-flight matches to reach the landmark, Guardiola managed it in record time - 55 games quicker than Ferguson (404) with Wenger (424) next.

David Moyes joins the 250-win club too, though his achievements span multiple managerial positions.

Guardiola has joined a list of 16 other bosses to reach the tally in the history of the English top flight, including Bill Shankly (Liverpool), Matt Busby (Manchester United) and Brian Clough (Nottingham Forest).

Remarkable Period of Dominance

The 54-year-old tactician has delivered six Premier League crowns, one Champions League trophy, two FA Cups and four League Cups during his tenure.

City secured their place in history as only the second team to complete the Treble by capturing the league, European cup and domestic cup in 2023.

In 2017-18 City became the first team to accumulate 100 points in one season - winning 32 of 38 games - while they are also the only team to have won four Premier League titles in a row.

Game-Changing Legacy

"He ranks among the all-time great managers," commented former City defender Micah Richards.

"Guardiola's legacy extends beyond mere wins to encompass his revolutionary approach, football evolution, and the tiki-taka system."

Under Guardiola, City have surpassed 90 points in four different campaigns out of nine - an extraordinary feat given this benchmark had been achieved just five times before his English tenure.

Guardiola's remarkable 71.6% win rate surpasses all other managers in league history, exceeding both Ferguson's 65.2% and Conte's 62.9%.

Throughout his 349 Premier League appearances, Guardiola's teams have netted 842 times while allowing only 299 goals.

Despite committing to City until 2027 through a new contract, questions persist about Guardiola's extended future.
